How the Program Actually Works

This isn't about collecting certificates. It's about developing a genuine understanding of financial metrics that matter to Australian businesses.

Foundation Phase

Months 1-3

Starting with basics sounds boring, but there's no way around it. We cover balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow fundamentals. You'll spend time with actual financial documents from small Australian businesses, learning to spot what matters and what's just noise.

Liquidity Analysis Deep Dive

Months 4-6

Here's where things get interesting. Current ratios, quick ratios, working capital management. We use real scenarios from 2024's economic conditions to show you how businesses manage short-term obligations. You'll analyze actual data sets and present your findings.

Solvency and Long-Term Health

Months 7-9

Debt-to-equity ratios, interest coverage, and long-term viability assessment. This phase involves more complex calculations and understanding industry benchmarks specific to Australian markets. We'll work through cases where businesses looked fine on paper but faced structural issues.

Applied Practice Project

Months 10-12

Your final months involve completing a comprehensive analysis of a real business scenario. You'll prepare reports that could actually be presented to stakeholders. Feedback comes from practitioners who do this work daily, so expect honest critique.
